A

Structural racism- policies that further discrimination effecting peoples opportunities and resources. Individual being discriminated against. Ex: george floyd (individual) police violence (structural)

-the rule of hypo descent- no longer a legal term but still has cultural salience
-used historically to create racial classifications of the children of mixed percentage
-the “one drop” rule labeled a child as a member of the subordinate position in a racial hierarchy
