gender identity that aligns with the sex assigned at birth.
gender stratification
an unequal distribution of power and access to a groups resources opportunities right and privileges based on gender
gender ideologies
Gender stratification develops out of stereotypes and ideologies not out of biology.

-Through everyday activities and interactions that enculturate individuals to gender roles which through their repeated successful enactment are internalized and biome automatic and come to seem natural (T-ball ex, toys, marketing to kids, etc),

Jobs can characterized as feminine or masculine. Ex: men being pushed in to STEM than women. Stereotype that men are good at science and math and women are good at history and english.

Gender roles learned early on. Study of boys and girls playing tball. Boys were given feedback of reinforcement, correction and encourage competition while girls were hardly corrected and were praised for trying.
