Q

What is the effect of an ACEI on the RAAS?

Q

What is the effect of ANG2 receptor antagonists (sartans) on the RAAS?

A

competitive antagonist of ANG2 at AT1 receptors. They don’t antagonise ang2 effects when stimulated at AT2 receptors or inhibit ANG2 production or bradykinin breakdown
