Basically , What is a quasi experiment?
Where the IV is not manipulated by the researcher but instead occurs naturally
Why is it not a true experiment?
Because P’s are not allocated to the conditions , They occur naturally
What examples of pre-existing conditions does the experimenter take advantage of?

1 strength regarding demand characteristics?
P’s are often not aware they are part of an experiment so prevent demand characteristics
What is hard to establish in quasi experiments?
A causal relationship because the IV is not being directly minipulated
Why are quasi experiments very common is psychology?
because they are often, Ethically and practically the only design that can be used
