Q

What are the JCT Valuation Rules?

A

If works are of a similar character and under similar conditions to the CSA, use CSA rates.

If works are of similar character but not similar conditions to the CSA, use CSA rates as a basis an adjust in a fair and reasonable manner.

If work is not of a similar character or similar conditions, use fair and reasonable rates. If work cannot be measured directly, use daywork.
