- Dyspnea & chest pain
- Tachypnea

- Syncope
- Rales
- Tachycardia

A
- CT angiography
- Venous US

PE- Tx
A
- Heparin/ LMWH
- Warfarin 3 months to lifetime
- Thrombolytic therapy- only hemodynamically unstable pts
- Surgery

A
Indicates probability of PE based on :
- Clinically suspected DVT
- Alt dx less likely
- Tachycardia
- Immobilization
- Hx of DVT
- Hemoptysis
- Malignancy
