- Alcohol, narrowed airways, smoking, obese middle aged men

A
- Daytime somnolence or fatigue
- Loud snoring with witness axenic events
- HTN
- Short, thick neck

A
- Overnight polysomnograhy
- Findings: O2 sat decrease, bradydysrhythmias and tachydysrhythmias

OSA- Tx
A
- Surgery to reduce pharegyal impairment
- CPAP (positive pressure)
- Weight loss- 10-20% can cure
- Mouth guards

OSA- Prognosis
A
- Untreated leads to pulmonary/ heart issues
- Can be cured with wt loss, surg, CPAP
