What is the difference between primary and secondary delusions?
Primary - idea springs into mind
Secondary - explaining the reasons for certain events
What occurs in formal thought disorder?
The patient has an impaired ability to sustain coherent discourse as seen in speech
Give examples of speech patterns that may be seen in formal thought disorder

What is thought interference?
When the patient feels their thoughts are not their own/withdrawn
What occurs in depressive psychosis?
Mood congruent content of psychotic symptoms including delusions of worthlessness/guilt

Mood congruent content of psychotic symptoms including grandiose delusions/special ability
