Reality is greatly distorted and presents with; delusions, hallucinations and thought disorders

A
A fixed belief that is firmly held despite evidence to the contrary and goes against the individuals normal social and cultural belief system

A
Perceptions in the absence of an external stimulus

Thought disorder features
A
- alogia: little information conveyed by speech
- tangentiality: answers diverge from topic
- clanging
- word salad: linking real words incoherently → nonsensical content

- agitation/aggression
- neurocognitive impairment (e.g. in memory, attention or executive function)

- thoughts of self-harm
