A
- Treatment resistant depression
- Severe major depression that impairs activities of daily living
- Suicidality
- Severe psychosis
- Food refusal secondary to depression
- Catatonia

A
- headache
- nausea
- short term memory impairment
- memory loss of events prior to ECT
- cardiac arrhythmia
