- The study of internal mental processes such as memory and perception and how they affect treatment and adherence to medication.
- How people remember, think, learn, perceive, attend to and manage information.

What is neuropsychology

- The interaction between psychological and physical systems and behaviour.
- Eg examining individuals with stroke and brain damage.
