OBJECTIVE SPORTS SITUATION
the type of skill that is to be performed, this could include the situation in which the skill is to be performed
COMPETITIVE ORIENTATION
the extent to which an individual is prepared to compete, or strives to achieve a performance goal or a product goal
SELECTIVE ATTENTION
the process of focusing onto a specific cue
STIMULUS INTENSITY
the extent to which the stimulus is dominant and distinct when compared to other stimulus
WARNING CUE
a stimulus that presents itself prior to the major cue that stimulates a response i.e. get set pro to a gun start
CENTRAL NERVOUS SYSTEM
comprises the brain and spinal corn, its main function is information processing
MOTOR SKILL
a learned movement that is deliberately performed in order to achieve a specific aim
CUE UTILISATION
the process that facilitates maximum attentional control, allowing efficient decision making and effective performance to take place
