Braa
A/A,A/S, Tactical control format providing target bearing, range, altitude and aspect relative to friendly aircraft
Bulls Eye
An established reference point from which the position of an aircraft can be determined. Made by cardinal / range or digital format.
Burn
A/S, Use of EO or IR illuminator used to provide illumination of surface points of interest.
Buster
A/A, Directive to fly at max continuous power (military power).
Buzzer
Electronic communications jamming.
Chattermark
Begin using briefed radio procedures to counter communications jamming.
Cherry Picker
Simulated CASEVAC.
Columbus
Deviation from the briefed route due to threat, weather, timing.
Contact
- Sensor contact at stated position
- A/S, Acknowledges sighting of a specified reference point either visually or via sensor
- A/A, Individual radar return within a GROUP or ARM
Continue
Continue present maneuver, does not imply clearance to engage or expend ordnance.
Continue Dry
Ordnance release not authorized.
Deadeye
Laser designator system inoperative.
