Inhibit Zone
Preset to 112/-100 degrees azimuth, however from -11 to -110 degrees elevation there is no inhibit zone for 360 degrees azimuth. Can only fire laser from Med, Narrow, and Super Narrow FOV
What is NUC? what types are there and how do you operate it.
Non-uniformity correction. Actuated from the UHCU for paddle NUC or from Menu.
Paddle NUC is recommended, No paddle NUC is for uniform targets w/ no contrast, Auto de-focus where a scene is not perfectly uniform, In the turret provides uniformly dark scene for correction.
How many Enhanced modes are there and what does each one do?
Enh1: Linear algorithm with reduced gain
Enh2: Non-linear algorithm that accommodates large temperature differences.
Enh3: Linear algorithm using only the bottom half for calculations
Enh4: Both algorithms used simultaneously and combined for the best image
Enh5:Same as Enh2 using the center 25% for calculations.
Enh6&7: same as auto. reserved for future use.
