- will have a bullet trap or catch

How can you ID a fragmentation rifle grenade?
- shape of body will range from oblong to semi-spherical
- may look like a hand grenade on a tail boom with external fuse
- bullet trap not tapered like venturi
What are the fragmentation rifle grenade fuses?
- point detonating (ID by the base arming clip in the front)
- base detonating (ID by the base arming clip/pin in the rear
- striker release

- break or seam near the major diameter

- can be smoke or riot control hand grenade attached to a rifle grenade boom
