Soft, heated plastic is forced into a two part mould and left to cool
Uses - electrical product casings, biros, chairs

A
Sheet plastic is placed upon a heated metal strip. When softened, the plastic can be bent in a straight line
Uses - display stands, menu holders

Vacuum forming
A
Plastic is heated over a mould. When soft the mould is lifted, and air is sucked out, forcing the plastic around the mould.
Uses - packaging (yoghurt pots, microwave meal containers etc)

A
Soft, heated plastic is forced into a mould, and air is forced in, creating a hallow shape
Uses - bottles
