CS of paracetamol poisoning
Cyanosis(brown/blue), weakness, facial/paw oedema, vomiting, chocolate brown blood,
Amount of paracetamol that is poisonous to cat and dog
Any size tablet ( >150mg/kg dog >20 mg/kg cat)
treatment for paracetamol poisoning
Emesis (within 2 hours), Dog: Apomorphine, Cat: Xylazine
activated charcoal, Antidote (Parvolex) , Monitor for a week
CS of NSAIDs poisoning
GIT erosion + ulceration, Bloody V+D, rarely CNS symptoms, Renal failure and hepatic imparment

Emesis (<3 hours), Dogs: Apomorphine, activated charcoal, Sucralfate, fluid therapy and monitor renal

1.25g/kg or Dark and 9g/kg of milk

V+D, polydipsia, salavation, dehydration, Myocardial stimulation (tremors, tachycardia, arrhythmia), Renal failure
