Name and locate the 5 primary endocrine organs
Thyroid: Neck
Parathyroid: The posterior aspect of the thyroid, Four little nubs of tissue
Pituitary: Hypothalamus
Pineal gland: Posterior to epithalamus
Adrenal gland: Sits above kidneys
give a hormone the thyroid produces and the role of that hormone in maintaining homeostasis
T3, T4
regulation of weight, energy levels, internal temperature, skin, hair, nail growth, metabolism

PTH (parathormone)
Controls the level of calcium in the blood

Growth Hormone
Regulates growth

Regulates sleep
