What are Inputs, Outputs, and Processes?

A

Inputs are things that need to be put into a farm e.g. animals.
Outputs are products of the farm that the farmer sells e.g. milk.
Processes are jobs done by the farmer on the farm throughout the year e.g. ploughing.

A

Dairy farming (cows, milk, butter and cheese etc.)
Arable farming or tillage (maize, wheat and barley etc.)
Horticulture or market gardening (vegetables, flowers, fruit, salads)

Livestock (cattle, sheep, pigs, horse)

What are cirrus clouds?

A

Cirrus clouds are wispy like a lock of hair, they occur at high altitudes, made of ice crystals and they are associated with fair weather.

What are cumulus clouds

A

Cumulus clouds are fluffy or wooly in appearance, they occur below 5000m, they are also known as fair weather clouds, and they can bring rain if they darken in colour.

What are stratus clouds?

A

Stratus clouds occur at a low altitude, they form thin layers and can block out the sky, if they reach ground level they are called fog, and they can bring continual drizzle and light rain.

A

Fishing season for some species are shortened, the mesh size of nets are fixed so that juvenile fish can escape, and trawlers from outside the EU are not allowed to fish in Irish Waters.
