How to treat hypotension in preterms

A
  • replace fluid losses using saline or blood as indicated by the underlying cause
  • inotropes (dopamine, adrenaline)
  • steroids (hydrocortisone)
  • treat underlying cause

- abruption, cord prolapse, obstructed labour,

Post-partum
- apnoea, severe RD, fits, sepsis, hypothermia
