Pressurisation Flashcards
If an OCU fails, what happens
If one OCU (Outflow valve Control Unit) fails the other one takes over the control of the two outflow valves.
Outflow valves close in AUTO
The two outflow valves close when the cabin altitude exceeds 14 000 ft in automatic mode (15 000 ft in manual mode)
When do the outflow valves close in MANUAL mode?
The two outflow valves close when the cabin altitude exceeds 15 000 ft in manual mode.

Pressurisation Abort Mode
If the aircraft does not climb after takeoff, the cabin altitude will automatically stop climbing, when:
The aircraft is at takeoff phase or climb phase
The aircraft altitude is less than 5 000 ft above the aircraft altitude at takeoff
The aircraft vertical speed is less than + 250 ft/minfor 30 s.
If ditching PB is pressed, what valves don’t close?
Engine Bleed Valves. (The DITCHING pb-sw closes all the valves, inlets and outlets located below the flotation line: outflow valves, avionics overboard valve, cargo isolation valves, pack valves, pack ram air inlet and outlet, emergency ram air inlet.)
What SD pages show avionics ventilation details?
