Benign Paraoyxmal Postitional Vertigo (3)
A
- Lasts: few secs - few mins
- Nausea
- Torstional nystagmus lasting 1 min with Dill-Hallpike test

Describe Dill Hallpike test (3)
A
- Rotate head to 45 degrees
- Lay down quickly and extend head 20 degrees over the edge of the couch
- Positive: reproduction of nystagmus and vertigo

Meniere’s disease (6)
A
1) Recurrent episodes of vertigo
- Lasts: several minutes to several hours
- Nausea and vomiting
2) Tinnitus = progressively worse
3) Fluctuating hearing loss (sensorineural, usually unilateral)
- Sense of aural pressure/fullness

Vestibular neuronitis presentation (3)
A
Following upper resp tract infection
- Sudden onset vertigo several days to weeks
- Nausea and vomiting
- Horizontal nystagmus

Acoustic neuroma (4)
A
- Vertigo in later stages
- Poor balance
- First: unilateral hearing loss
- Large=raised ICP?
