What are the past participles
AR = ado
ER / IR = ido
What are past actions connected to the Present
Actions that happened in the past but are relevant in the present. It’s very common to see it used to talk about things that just happened.
E.G my teacher doubts that I had read the book
What are Actions that will have been completed in the future
Talking about things that are expected to be done by a point in the future
E.G I wish that you will have written 5 pages by Monday
It is possible that you will have returned by March
My teacher doubts that I have read the book
My profesor duda que yo haya leído el libro
It is good that we have spoken
Es bueno que hayamos hablado
I wish that you (pl) will have written 5 pages by Monday
Quiero que hayáis escrito cinco paginas para el lunes
It is possible that you (pl) will have returned by March
Es posible que ustedes hayan vuelto para marzo
When will you know to use the present perfect subjunctive
It has the same triggers as present subjunctive
I hope he has finished
Espero que haya terminado
I like that you’ve done this
Me gusta que hayas hecho esto
Irregular past participles rule
For -ER and -IR verbs, if the stem ends in a vowel, a written accent will be required
Irregular : thought
creído
