ATOMATOFLAMES checklist is used for what? What does it stand for?
Used for daytime VFR
Altimeter, Tachometer, Oil temp, Manifold pressure (only for alt engine, turbocharged, or constant speed prop), Airspeed, Temp gauge for liquid cooled engines, Oil pressure, Fuel indicator, Landing gear position indicator (if retractable), Anti-collision lights, Magnetic compass, ELT, Safety belts (refers to lap belt only, not shoulder harness)
FLAPS checklist is used for what? What does it stand for?
Used for night VFR
Fuses (3 of each fuse type or circuit breakers)
Landing light if for hire,
Anti-collision lights (BCN or strobe if no BCN),
Position - “Nav lights” (red and green on wings, white backwards)

Used for IFR

What personal (pilot’s) documents and endorsements must you have on you while flying solo? What additionally is needed as a student pilot? (FAR 61.3; 61.87.P.4)
Pilot certificate, medical, government-issued photo ID, and for student pilots : CFI endorsement for that specific flight plan and plane make/model from within 90 days. If flight > 50 miles, need endorsement each time.
