Other name for casual register
Informal register
Describes speech that is informal or imprecise; uses many nonstandard grammatical forms (Types of private registers)

Describes speech that is about personal topics used between close acquaintances and can employ standard or nonstandard grammatical forms (Types of private registers)
Intimate register
Is a general term for any distinctive form of a language or linguistic expression

Dialect

Regional dialect

Sociolect/Social dialect

The vernacular spoken by some African-Americans; is a type of ethnolect

Idiolect
A type of language that consists of words and phrases that are regarded as very informal
Slang
Are specialized words or phrases used by a certain profession or group to refer to things that happen in that profession or group
Jargon
