Aristotle, S-M-C-R, Lasswell, Schramm, Shannon-Weaver
Is a speaker-centered model; has no concept of feedback and it is one way from speaker to audience
Aristotle’s model of communication
Model that does not include feedback, ignores the existence of noise, and is very general and simplistic
Lasswell’s model of communication
Includes communication skills, attitudes, knowledge, social system, and culture (S-M-C-R model of communication)

Includes content, elements, treatment, structure, and code (S-M-C-R model of communication)
Message
Includes hearing, seeing, touching, smelling, and tasting (S-M-C-R model of communication)
Channel
Model that is sometimes impaired by semantic noise, relies on one-to-one communication, and creates misunderstanding
Schramm’s interactive model
Model that is applicable for interpersonal communication than group or mass communication
Shannon-Weaver’s model of communication
Rule that asserts to always treat others in the same way you want to be treated
Golden rule
Rule that stresses on treating others the way they wish to be treated
Platinum rule
Are not only cognitive but also emotional beings
