Identifying: We gain a sense of self-esteem when we belong and identify with something
Comparing: We compare our groups with other groups to reaffirm the positives beliefs of our group

Self-fufilling prophecy: Victims of prejudice may internalize what is being said about you and then become that
Stereotype threat: having Self-perpetuating beliefs
