Straight-In PA
A
- Set power 80% RPM
- Advise Approach Control of intention to make straight in PA
- 5,000’ AGl@5NM lower gear and half flaps, extend SB, Landing Checklist
- Maintain 175 KIAS @3000 FPM
- 4@4nm / 3@3nm / 2@2nm /
- @1.5 NM (1500’AGL) incr pitch to slow 165, Flaps full (once landing is assured), SB as require
*DO NOT DECELERATE BELOW 160 KIAS until on roundout and flare prior to TD.
*DO NOT DECELERATE BELOW OPTIMUM AOA
- Reduce power idle and continue to adjust pitch
- TD should occur within first 3rd of the runway

Overhead Perpendicular PA
A
- Set 80% power, 200 KIAS @5000’ AGL on heading 90* to landing runway approx 4000’ down the runway.
- At High Key (3 seconds after crossing runway), lower gear and ½ flaps
- 25* - 30* AOB turn @ 4700’ AGL and extend SB maintain 175 KIAS
- Hit low key @ 3000’ AGL, 175 KIAS w/ 3300 FPM rate of descent at 1.5 miles abeam in 35* AOB turn
- Arrive at 90* pos @ 1500’ AGL and 175 KIAS
- Begin to pitch to slow 165 KIAS
- 45* pos with appropriate altitude and airspeed to assure landing →
- Flaps full,
- Intercept Extended rwy centerline at 330’ AGL and 160 KIAS

Parallel Entry
A
- High Key: 80% power, 200 KIAS, 5000’ AGL offset from runway
- lower gear and ½ flaps
- initiate 25-35* AOB to arrive at LK 3000’ AGL
- Low Key: 3000’ AGL, 175 KIAS, AOB: 35*, 1.5 NM abeam 1,750’ down the runway
- 90*: 1500’ AGL, 175 KIAS (decelerating to 175) AOB 35*
- 45*: 1000’ AGL, 165 KIAS (decelerating to 160 KIAS) with runway made, go full flaps/slats, SB as required. 25* AOB
- Final 330’ AGL, 160 KIAS

- Abeam: 80% RPM, 3000’ AGL, 1-1.5NM abeam, 200 KIAS
- Low key: 3000’ AGL, 175 KIAS, 35* AOB turn
- 90* Pos: 1,500’ AGL, 175 KIAS (slowing 165), 35* AOB
- 45* Pos: 1000’ AGL, 165 KIAS (slowing 160) w/ landing assured, Full flaps, SB as req, 25* AOB
- Final: 330’ AGL, 160 KIAS
