2x30 for 60

Slow Flight
- Break and slow to approach speed, dirty up
- Landing Checklist, AOA/airspeed check
- Level turn of 30* AOB for 2x 90* turns
- Descend 500’
- Level turn of 30 degrees AOB for 2x 90* turns
- Climb 500’
- Return to normal flight
- 250 KIAS, Clean
Weather/Altitude Mins for Stalls
- Daylight
- VMC/visible horizon
- Recovery from maneuvers must be complete (return to straight and level flight without descending below 10,000’ AGL
Break Turn Stall/Recovery
- Pre-stall and aerobatic checklist
- 300 KIAS roll 70 - 80* AOB, idle, boards
- Apply back stick pressure until 17 AOA
- @220KIAS pull back pressure until stall occurs
- Should occur within 180* of turn
Recovery:
- Break stall, boards in MRT
- Roll wings level
- Complete in level flight at 150 KIAS
Power Off Stall Recovery
Simulate a stall as you stretch out a glide profile
- Pre-stall aerobatic checklist
- Reduce power IDLE, slow 180 KIAS, retract SB at 180
- Maintain 180 kias wings level descent
- Slowly increase back stick to level off until stall
Recover
- Break stall, allow airspeed to increase to 180 KIAS idle descent
Landing Attitude Manuever
- Pre-stall aerobatic checklist
- Dirty up, slow on speed, landing checklist
- Maintain wings level, reduce power to idle, maintain altitude, until rudder shakers
Recovery
- MRT, SB in, Maintain nose attitude
- Once out of rudder shakers raise nose attitude to climb
- Maneuver complete with two positive rates of climb
Landing Attitude Stall/Recovery
- Pre-stall aerobatic checklist
- Maintain on-speed AOA in landing configuration, SB extended
- Wings level, reduce IDLE, maintain altitude
- Wing drop off or 30 units recover
Recovery
- Simultaneously reduce nose attitude, advance power to MRT, retract SB, Maintain 24 units AOA
- Complete with 2 pos rates of climb
Approach Turn Stall/Recovery
- Pre-stall aerobatic checklist and landing checklist, Dirty config
- Decelerate to and maintain on-speed AOA
- Roll 25* AOB
- Reduce IDLE
- Maintain altitude
- Recover at wing drop or 30 AOA
Recovery
- Simultaneously roll wings level, decrease back-stick pressure, MRT, retract SB
- Fly out 24 units AOA
- 2 pos rates complete
Accelerated Stall/Recovery
- Pre-stall and aerobatic checklist
- 280 KIAS, set RPM to maintain airspeed
- Roll 70 - 80* AOB
- Apply backstick pressure through onset of buffet and into stall
- Should stall within the first 90*s of turn
- Stall characteristics include: wing drop off, pitch oscillations, or control stick’s reaching the full aft position
Recover
- Simultaneously release back stick pressure, advance power MRT, roll wings level
- Complete with wings level in level flight attitude
- Recovery is immediate when back stick pressure is released
