peptic ulcer disease, GERD, ZE syndrome
prevention for pts at risk for stress ulcers
risk of pneuomnia, bone fracture
inc c diff infection
rebound hypersecretion, hypomagnesia
in the AM before food, swallow whole
dec epigastric pain, heartburn, monitor for diarrhea, pain, N/V,
ulcers should be treated in 4-6 weeks
notify HCP of hypomagnesmia
