IV slowly over an hour
avoid being around sick people
call HCP if fever, painful urination or bloody diarrhea

build bone densitys and prevents fractures
treats and prevents osteoporsis (postmenopausal)
treats pagets disease and hypercalemia

dyspepsia, acid reflux, abdominal pain, N/D
tablets given once a week liquid once a day, monitor bone density DEXA scan
take med first in the AM
empty stomach
weight bearing exercises 30-40 min daily
intake of vitamin d and calcium
