Powerplant and PAC limitations Flashcards
Automatic Performance Reserve (APR) must be used when takeoff performance is….
predicated upon the use of APR.
The APR system must be selected off when….
an APR INOP caution message is displayed on EICAS.
APR OFF Performance must be used when….
an APR INOP caution message is displayed.
The APR system must be selected OFF for takeoff and APR OFF performance must be used when….
the ambient temperature is -18°C and below, and pressure altitude is less than 1,000 ft (3A1 engines only).
Min Reduced Thrust for both engine types
3A1: 85% 3B1: 83.5%
ENGINE START (FLIGHT) Max windmilling/starter-assisted cross-bleed relight altitude:
FL210
ENGINE WARMUP
Until oil pressure reaches green band: Do not exceed idle Do not exceed 75% N1 until: 2 minutes, or All operating indication
Ground Idle N2 Split:
≤2%
During 2nd engine APU bleed start:
Operating engine <70%
With OAT ≥ –20°C, thrust levers at idle, N2:
>57%* * If N2 is ≤57% with the OAT of -20° C or greater, do not advance thrust levers above idle. Contact Maintenance.
Engine must not be shut down until:
2 minutes at idle/near idle thrust NOTE - Taxi time counts towards this limitation.
THRUST REVERSER use during taxi
SkyWest prohibits the use of thrust reversers during taxi operations.
CRJ 700/900 TAKEOFF THRUST VALUES
With the engines running and bleeds configured for takeoff, the crew must verify the target N1 values correspond with ACARS or TLR data ± 1.0%. When the thrust levers are set for takeoff, target and N1 values must match.
OIL LIMITS Max after cold start
Engine must remain at idle until oil psi returns to normal range. Must be in normal range within 10 min.
