Flex power can only be entered when
- Thrust levers are in Idle or shuts off
- Wait on wheels for at least one minute
- Assumed temperature entered is greater than the actual OAT
- Airspeed is less than 65 kts

-Selecting delete on the FMS CDU
-if the FMS is not available

Uses cold fuel to cool the engine oil
If an inadvertent thrust reverser deployment ….what happens?

However the pilot must place the thrust reverser in the idle position

Left engine is the master engine and the right engine will be slaved to it

Rt within 7.5 of left
What is required for starter operation
Pressurized air and DC electrical power

Shut off valve closes stopping fuel flow
Engine flames out
FADEC Detects flame out and turns on ignition
N2 decreases below over speed threshold
Automatic relight occurs
