At top of drop:
Select 0 degrees NU in HDFD
Select down flap.
Steadily adjust attitude down as flap travels. It will reach about 3 degrees ND initially.
Adjust power as required - note, initially, about 87% will work (same as you had for S+L) with 1/2 flap.
AOA will build towards 5AOA as you descend. Taper HDFD attitude to about 2.5 degrees ND by about 1000ft.
State how to do a go-around/ Missed Approach on the HDFD
Select full power and smoothly select 10 degrees nose up.
Once positive rate confirmed, select gear and flap up.
Maintain 10 degrees NU in HDFD as services travel.
