Pathogenesis
A
Proliferate in the tonsil and Peyer’s PATCHES of terminal illeum. Then, it will enter blood, muscle’s interstitium > Motor neurons > Moves RetroGrade through the motor neuron > Reaches Anterior Horn > Destroys alpha motor neurons. LMN lesion > Atrophied muscle. [PARALYSIS]
ASSYMETERIC paralysis in lower legs, Myalgias and respiratory paralysis.
CAUSES ASEPTIC MENINGITIS
