What is the process if a warrant card is lost or stolen
A cops event must be created, complete a report through the chain of command that can be sent to the security management unit to arrange replacement.
Loss of the items will be borne by the officer unless they can show they were not negligent.
When an officers ceases employment where do you return all cards badges ID etc.
Security management unit SPC within a week either in person or by registered mail using the EFIMS system. A receipt will be give to acquit records.
If an officer wishes to keep their warrant card after separation from the NSWPF what is the process.
An officer submits a report through their commander to the commander of security management unit. If approved the laminated card will be stamped using a hole punch with the word void in the signature line before being acquitted and returned to the officer.
What obligation does the command have in relation to inspection of warrant cards.
All staff warrant cards are to be inspected every quarter to ensure the photo resembles the officer and recorded on CMF. If there has been substantial change in appearance the officer must submit a Godfrey report to the security management unit for a renewal warrant card.
