PNS Anatomy Flashcards
Radiculopathy
Sensory of motor dysfunction caused by pathology of nerve root
Dermatome
Somatosensory fiber innervation of one spinal nerve
Total loos of sensation requires
3 consecutive sgments to be lost
True segmental dermatome patterns
The back - dorsal ramus (true back muscles)
Thoracic regions - ventral ramus (T2-T12)
Varicella zoster
Follows dermatome patterns…herpes zoster is other name
What is a plexus
Merging of nerves
