solid rocks high in silicon
what is the very top layer of the mantle?
semi-molten magma known as the asthenosphere
why does the asthenosphere move?
the constant flow of heat from the convection currents powered from the heat from the core
what is the crust?
thin top of the lithosphere
the oceanic curst is dense; what does it get destroyed by?
plate movement
as the continental crust is less dense so doesn’t get destroyed
