Q

What two peices of evidence is there to prove that wegener theory was correct?

A

The jigsaw puzzle: this was called this because the earths countries looked like jigsaw pieces , they all looked like they connected together , for example south america and africa . The second piece of evidence is the mesosaurus which was dinasaur that could not swim but could only walk . Its fossils were found over a range of different places including India and Africa. The only possible explanation for this was that India and Africa used to ge connected this means that the mesosauraus must of walked across as it could not of swam. Therefore this supports Wegeners theory because the it meant that all the continents then formed a super continent
