Q

Conditions necessary for germination

A
  1. Oxygen - for respiration
  2. Water - moisture is required to activate enzymes needed to digest the food store
  3. Warmth - to create optimum temp for enzyme activity (18-20 degrees c)
  4. Light - activate growth hormones auxin
