Strengths: what is the company good at?
Weaknesses: do we have competent managers and staff
( external)
Opportunities: what will new tech bring for us
Threats: what trends have been evident in our market
Explain “ develop alternatives”
Mangers establishes several strategies and then agree on which one to put into action
Explain “Implement alternatives”
Agreed upon strategies needs to be put in place
Explain “ monitor progress”
Management sets targets and checks wether they are met. If not met, planning process is repeated
