A

A01:

  • Physical recreation is active aspect of leisure, without focusing on winning.
  • Sport is organised, competitive and skilful activity that requires commitment.

A02:
- Amy experiences physical recreation when playing badminton at lunchtime sessions bc fun and enjoyable as her friends are involved. Focuses more on having fun rather then winning. Modified rules eg playing 3vs5—-> game more enjoyable/interesting. If modified rules, coaches will self officiate the game.

However, when playing for local club, experiences sport bc highly competitive as winning is the most imp. Strategies/ tactics will be observed by coach and be used during game. Expected to play to high level of commitment and skill.

A03:
- Playing at lunch can positively impact her playing in club bc can practice skills/ tactics during free time——> improve performance, so can win trophy.
However, might practice wrong technique so bad habits will be learned, lose a match, so cannot win a trophy.
