Refers to the cleanliness and the use of precautions to guard against infections to prevent unnecessary disease/infection/illness.

The ways to ensure people are free from pain, some individuals experience pain on a regular basis and sometimes continuously, usually as a result of a health condition (arthritis/cancer) pain is not controlled = negative quality of life

Regular exercise has important long term benefits and most people feel better after exercise.
Improves their quality of life.
Older people need exercise to maintain mobility
