Care workers have to look at the wider picture = long term/ short term affects.

Conformity to workplace norms
Accepting the routines of the work place, such as cutting corners, isnt the best for individuals, e.g. not washing hands between each patient.
Lack of motivation
Some carers may lack motivation to do their job, they wonder, Do I have a choice? Caring may not be some carers first be their first choice occupation, others may be there just for the wage. This leads to carers not being able to emphasis with individuals and not give extra for them.
Lack of skill
If a care worker lacks skill they may lack confidence and give poor care.
