External force: impact with someone or caused by environment e.g. Heat - dehydration
Overuse: e.g. Shin splints

  • use safe equipment in good condition
  • water safety equipment / protective gear
  • be fit enough for your sport as well as injury free already
  • know limits, don’t overdo, don’t lift too heavy or incorrectly
