Bind to beta receptors and stop them from responting to adreanline so preventing sympathetic nervous system
Bradycardia and low blood pressure

Calcium channel blockers
Amlodapine
Blocks the calcium channels and causes less contractility in the heart
Muscle aches and impotentce
What are the D drugs prescribed for hypertension?
D
Diuretics Bumetanide
Reduce water content of the blood
Increased urination

Reduce hepatic glucose production
