basic convictions about what is right, good or desirable

Types of values
Terminal : desirable end-state, achieved during lifetime
Instrumental : means of achieving the terminal values
Person- organization fit
people are attracted to and are selected by organizations that match their value
Hof-stedes framework
shows the effects of a society’s culture on the values of its members, and how these values relate to behavior
