MMPI-2
T >/= 65; have 10 clinical scales that are used to indicate different psychological conditions; Has Validity scales which can show how accurate the test is, as well as to what degree answers may have been distorted. Scales include depression, masculinity/femininity, schizophrenia.
The L Scale
Lie scale; trying to present self in most favorable way
The F scale
Overreporting scale; trying to appear worse than what you really are
The K scale
Defensiveness scale; minimizing problems or denying them; fear of judgment

cannot say scale; 30 or more unanswered questions considered invalid

Same as MMPI-2, but for ages 14-18; T>65
BDI-II
Beck Depression Inventory; ages 13-80; Measures severity of depression and specifies clinical diagnosis of depression; 21-items

Children’s Depression Inventory; ages 7-17; Evaluates depressive symptoms in children

Achievement Assessment assessing both academic achievements and cognitive development; use age norms not grade norms
