What the criteria for diagnosis of antisocial personality disorder?
At least 18 years of age with evidence of conduct disorder since at least 15 years old.
What are features of the reward dependence character trait?
Tenderhearted, socially dependent, and sociable
What are features of the harm avoidance character trait?
Uncertain, shy, with pessimistic worry in the face of problems
What are features of the novelty seeking character trait?
Impulsivity, curiosity, easy boredom, and disorderliness
What are features of the persistent character trait?
Hard-working and ambitious overachievers who view frustration and fatigue as a personal challenge
How is does a depressive personality (other specified personality disorder) differ from persistent depressive disorder (dysthymia)?
Dysthymia is more episodic. In depressive personality, patients have a pervasive pattern of being pessimistic, anhedonic, self-doubting and chronically unhappy.
