What is a personality disorder?
- Enduring pattern of inner experience or behaviour that deviates markedly from the expectations of an individual’s culture and not manifestations of another mental or physical illness and result in distress or impairment in normal function.
- Developmental conditions that appear in childhood or adolescence and continue to adult life
- Cannot be explained as manifestation or consequence of other adult mental health disorders

- Callous unconcern for feelings of others
- Irresponsible and disregards social norms, rules or obligations
- Incapacity to maintain enduring relationships though no difficulty in establishing them
- Very low tolerance to frustration and low threshold for aggression/ violence
- Incapacity to experience guilt or profit from adverse experience particularly punishment
- Marked proneness to blame others
